Trice Returns to Porsche Sprint Challenge GB

Toby Trice has officially confirmed his return to the Porsche Sprint Challenge GB for the 2025 season, extending his partnership with Clean Racing for a second year. The announcement solidifies Trice’s commitment to competing at the highest level in the series, as he targets championship success this season.

Reflecting on his decision, Trice explained:
“At the end of the 2024 season, I had my eyes firmly on the Carrera Cup GB championship, and that remains my long-term goal. However, we decided to focus our efforts on giving maximum attack to win a championship this year, rather than stretching ourselves too thin. The Porsche Sprint Challenge GB is an incredible series, and my attention is firmly on claiming the title this season.”

Clean Racing’s team principal, Pete Kyle-Henney, expressed his excitement at the continuation of their collaboration:
“Clean Racing is delighted to see Toby returning to the team for a second season. Toby brings a level of professionalism that perfectly suits the ethos of the team. It was a real pleasure working with him in 2024, and we are thrilled to continue this journey together.”

Kyle-Henney highlighted the team’s efforts to support Trice’s campaign:
“The Cayman RS was new to the championship in 2024, and Clean Racing quickly honed the car for Toby. Over the winter, we’ve worked on assessing the data gathered throughout the season and have no doubt we can provide a quick car to a very quick driver. With more time for preseason testing this year, I am confident Toby will hit the ground running.”

Kyle-Henney continued, praising Trice’s abilities:
“Toby is a thinking driver, as keen to understand the technical side of motorsport as he is to extract the most from his own talent. His incredible car control and feel will challenge our engineering team to get the car in the right window every time he goes out. Toby’s deep desire to work hard to get results will enable our engineers, including Peter Sieber—who has worked with F1 legends like Michael Schumacher—to extract the best from both Toby and the car.”

Clean Racing is investing heavily in its future, combining its technical expertise and driver talent to compete at the highest level. Kyle-Henney added:
“As a new team, we bring significant knowledge of racing and engineering Porsche cars. With Peter Sieber on board, who helped Huber Racing achieve championship success last year, we are confident in our ability to deliver results. Toby’s tenacity and resilience will drive us forward. We are already planning for a shot at Le Mans, and Toby is very much part of those future aspirations.”

Trice’s 2025 campaign also marks the continuation of his Racing for Fertility campaign, using motorsport as a platform to raise awareness about fertility challenges.
“By being present in this championship again, consistency is king,” Trice said. “We’re continuing to spread the message of fertility awareness to a passionate motorsport audience. Helping couples through the challenges of fertility is deeply personal to me, and I’m determined to make a difference.”

As Trice prepares for the upcoming season, he remains focused on achieving his ultimate goal: championship success.
“Last season was about proving to myself that I could still race after my 2023 accident. Now, I feel more confident than ever. With the support of my incredible team, sponsors, and fans, I’m ready to give it my all in 2025. Motorsport is a rollercoaster, but I’m grateful for every moment and excited to see what the future holds,” Trice concluded.

The Porsche Sprint Challenge GB is set to kick off at Donington Park on the 26th April, with Trice and Clean Racing poised to make a significant impact on the championship battle.
